You should never try to get them to do something that will make you look good or that will put you in a better light. Don’t use your child to try to convince someone else to be with you. Children are naturally curious and they may see things that you would prefer them not to see.

If your child does something that you don’t want them to do, don’t make them do it, especially if it’s the wrong thing. You want to set good examples so your child feels that they can trust you. Even if they see you doing something that they don’t like, you have to be sure to hold your ground.

The rules that your child uses to keep from doing something are essential in child discipline. Your child should always know what is appropriate and what is not. You should encourage them to use the right kind of behavior for doing things, like letting them sit in the seat in front of the television while you’re watching TV. Then, you can keep your voice down low and quiet and the children will listen. Your child’s health and safety is a great importance and your children need to be kept safe. You can be a great role model for your children. Practice and teach them the things that you want them to know about responsibility and how to be responsible for their actions.
